GETTING STARTED

Beginning with the Columbia Video Network program is easy

Non-Degree Program (NDP)
New students with a strong background in engineering, mathematics, or a related field need not formally matriculate into a degree program before beginning their studies. The non-degree student may take courses for credit or audit upon acceptance into this status. No transcripts or GRE scores are required for non-degree students. To apply for the non-degree program, simply fill out the form at the link below.

Non-Degree Program Application

Degree
Through CVN, students may choose to pursue the degree of Masters of Science (MS) or the Professional Degree (PD). If a student decides that he or she wishes to apply to a Columbia graduate program and is accepted, up to 15 credits taken as a non-degree student may be counted upon advisor's approval. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible to the degree programs since accumulation of credits does not guarantee acceptance.

Columbia Video Network offers a number of flexible study options. Students can:

  • take courses to earn their Master of Science degree from Columbia,
  • take courses to earn a Professional Degree from Columbia,
  • take courses for credit towards completion of a 12-credit Certificate program,
  • audit courses at a discounted tuition rate,
... without ever coming to campus.
