Course Description:
Earthquake characteristics, magnitude, response spectrum,
dynamic response of structures to ground motion.
Base isolation and earthquake-resistant design.
Wind loads and aeroelastic instabilities. Extreme
winds. Wind effects on structures and gust factors.
