Accessibility

If you require special accommodations while on campus, Columbia’s Disability Services office can coordinate reasonable accommodations and support services for Columbia visitors. Accommodations include note taking, sign language interpreters, or assistive technology. Please notify your program manager at least 10 days in advance of the program to request these services. Certain accommodations, such as sign-language interpreting services, require advance notice to coordinate.

Visa Requirements

Please note that you are responsible for complying with all visa and other applicable US regulations. Because our programs are short-term professional development programs, and not degree granting or credit-bearing, generally our students do not require a student visa, but a B1 business visa.

For information regarding travel into the United States, refer to the US State Department website. Under University policy, we cannot contact an embassy directly on behalf of a participant. Please note that the visa process may be very lengthy, therefore we strongly encourage all participants to begin the process immediately upon enrollment.
