CVN students register for courses through Student Services Online (SSOL). This is Columbia's web portal for registration, student finances, and much more.
Call numbers for CVN summer 2024 courses are available under the Summer 2024 Video Network listing in the Columbia University Directory of Classes. Please note that CVN call numbers are different from on-campus call numbers; be sure that you are entering CVN call numbers when registering for courses.
During the registration period, you will be able to register for classes in SSOL Monday – Friday from 9:30 AM ET – 8:30 PM ET.
To register for classes:
- Log into SSOL using your UNI credentials.
- Click the Registration link under the Your Academic Records heading in the SSOL menu.
- Click the button for the appropriate registration term.
- In the registration tools section, you can select to view only CVN courses by clicking the List CVN Classes button.
- Select your courses for the semester.
CVN students can register for up to two courses per semester. If you received advisor permission to register for more than two courses, forward that permission to [email protected] along with the course information.
- Read the class info, and click the Add Class button to register for the selected class.
Please note: You will be able to see the courses that you've registered for, but you will not see your bill until close to the beginning of the semester.
