The computer science curriculum at Columbia places equal emphasis on theoretical computer science and mathematics and on experimental computer technology.

The Certification of Professional Achievement in Information Systems is designed for students who wish to deepen their fundamental knowledge at the graduate level by completing 4 specified courses in the Computer Science Department.

Columbia really shines in my search for a school to pursue my advance degree via long distance learning. The reason is simple. The CVN crew and faculty continuously gives speedy support and helpful advise in all areas from academic to technical support. I found none of its competitor comes close to it. Equally important is that CVN constantly look for way to improve. I would like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation and thank everyone that makes long distance learning possible."
